TeamD. Kimm, general and artistic directorLes Filles électriques draws on the experience of its executive and artistic director, D. Kimm. Since 1994, she has produced shows that have left their mark on the literary scene, bringing together hundreds of writers, stage artists and musicians. Worth noting: her tenure as artistic director of Montreal’s Festival de la littérature (1995—1998). She has published four books and released a music-poetry CD/album (Le Silence des hommes with guitarist Bernard Falaise). Her show with performer Alexis O’Hara, Mankind, which has released the disc Ice Machine and toured Europe in spring 2008. Stéphane Despatie, executive directorDenise Leprohon, accountingAfter studies in Visual Arts, I decided to become a puppeteer, a career I enjoyed for more than twenty years. From the Vagabond show performed on a trailer for the Ville de Montréal to Éducanima (music and puppetry) and the Théâtre Sans Fil with shows like Le Hobbit, Le Corbeau blanc, Jolis Deuils, Le Seigneur des Anneaux, Rabelais, and La Couronne du Destin. I was lucky enough to be involved with all the “strings” in this wonderful craft, from design and direction to operating the puppets themselves. In 1996 I set up my own puppet theatre company, La Nuit des Temps. For the past several years, I have been self-employed as an accountant and in doing other administrative tasks; my main clients are companies working in the arts sector. |
