Virginie Beauregard D

Virginie Beauregard D snooped around the Montreal music scene, eventually making it onto the CISM bestseller charts. She is currently at university studying visual arts. In 2005, she entered the poetry scene and has maintained her place ever since. She is regularly published in Take Out, a magazine created through the poetry house Les Archipelliers. We can also find her performing in many different venues. In May of 2009, the literature department of Cégep Saint-Laurent invited her to give a recital and do some teaching. The spring of 2009 also saw actress Andrée Lachapelle perform her poem “Vous êtes tous des petits garcons” (“You Are All Little Boys”) during Loui Mauffette’s play, Dans les charbons at Théatre Quat-sous. Her first collection will come out in March 2010, with Éditions de L’Écrou.
