Paul Chamberland

Born in Longueuil in 1939, Paul Chamberland studied philosophy and literature, then taught creative writing, among other subjects, at several colleges and universities including the Université du Québec à Montréal. He is the author of several essays and poetry collections and regularly participates in poetry readings and university symposia, both in Quebec and internationally. His work includes Terre Québec (poetry, 1964); Au seuil d’une autre Terre (poetry, 2003); and Une politique de la douleur (essay, 2004).
