Marie DavidsonMember of Les momies de Palerme. Marie Davidson was born in Montreal in 1987. Active musician since 2007, she’s been part of many formations including Les momies de Palerme and the rock band Roses et les Sirènes. Since 2007, Les momies de Palerme gave about thirty shows and participated to many festivals like Suoni per il Popolo, Pop Montreal and the Festival International de Musique Actuelle de Victoriaville. Their album Brûlez ce cœur was released in 2010 under the Constellation Records label. Marie collaborated with many artists like Jonathan Parant, musician, Julie Favreau, video director, and Emmet Walsh, producer. She took part as a singer in the large-scale project Land of Kush, directed by Sam Shalabi, presented at Suoni Per il Popolo 2008, and Festival Pop Montréal 2009-2010. As a violinist, she also took part to the Coin Coin project, album recording and concert, directed by the jazz musician Matana Roberts (2010). Featured in events
