Marie DavidsonBorn in Montreal in 1987, Marie Davidson is now an active musician since 2005, she is one half of the duo Les momies de Palerme, a part of the rock group Rose De and of the improv trio Littoral. She also collaborated on Land of Kush and Egyptian Light Orkestra, two projects orchestrated by Sam Shalabi. Since 2009, Marie is working with sound in chaotic and sensual ways with the experimental trio Les Sirènes, scheduled for the 2010 FVA edition. A poet, Marie Davidson presented her first written piece called Cordial for the 2008 FVA edition during the Night Shift. Since several months, Marie is working on a long prose poem. Segments of this poem will be read with sound treatement for the concert Dans la forêt. Her literary work is chaos-driven, about restless wandering and drunkenness, but also led by intuition.
