Stéphane Despatie

Stéphane Despatie was born in Montreal in 1968. He has published several volumes of poetry, including Engoulevents, Au milieu du vacarme, and Garder le feu, as well as a work of fiction, Réservé aux chiens. He is one of the founders of Montreal’s Marché francophone de la poésie. A literary and theatre critic for the weekly Voir, he is also director of the journal Exit.
