Sebastien Dicenaire wears many hats: writer, performer and radio creator. Born in 1979, the Frenchman has lived in Brussels since 2001. In 2004, he published Döner-kebab (Éditions Héros-Limite), then Personnologue published in 2007 by Clou Dans Le Fer. He’s currently working on Pamela, based on the détournement of Harlequin romance passages. Since 2000, Sebastian has regularly performed his texts in public, often accompanied by a soundtrack he’s composed. He’s also been involved in collaborative performances, such as an improvisation project of voices and sound, [kwad}, on Radio Panik in Brussels. He was also part of WarpZoneRadio, with Lucille Calmel, for the Radiophonic 2007 festival and Kirkjubæjarklaustur with Maja Mantar and Vincent Tholomé for the Nouveau Festival du Centre Georges Pompidou in 2009. Since the inception of the website silenceradio, he’s contributed to its programming and has also produced radio/poetry stories for La Première (RTBF) such as with Personnologue, in 2009, and Kirkjubæjarklaustur in 2011.
