El Motor

El Motor is a finely tuned, mind-blowing mechanism with psychedelic guitars, dreamlike texts and rich keyboard arrangements. Pierre A. Bouchard, Fred Filo, Guillaume D.-Duclos, Pascal Gingras and Alexis Dufresne are the members of the group. They launched their first eponymous album in November 2007, which was produced by Alexis Dufresne (son of Louise Forestier). The album was nominated at the Gala de l’ADISQ 2008 for: “Album of the year-alternative” and “Author-Composer of the year”. El Motor is also Louise Forestier’s house band on tour with her new CD Éphémère. They have invited the poet Catherine Lalonde.
