Karoline Georges

Born in Montreal in 1970, with a degree in cinema and art history, Karoline Georges taught contemporary dance. Over the past ten years, she has developed a photography practice. She is a member of the electroacoustic exploration collective Alka Erox and sits on the board of directors of Expression, a contemporary art exhibition centre in St-Hyacinthe. She has contributed to a number of literary journals, such as Estuaire, Liberté, XYZ, Virages, Brèves littéraires and Saisons littéraires. In 2001, she published her first novel, La Mue de l’hermaphrodite (Leméac), which was very well received by critics.
