Gerardo Nonell

Mexican-born Gerardo Nonell studied drama at the Centro Universitario de Teatro. His great creative curiosity brought him to Quebec 13 years ago to continue his studies (Omnibus, Atelier Alejandro Moran, etc.) Gerardo has participated in many theatrical productions, including playing Fernando in the film Le rêve de Mariano Franco, which won the Concordia Fine Arts Award in 2002, the prize for the best production at Festivalisimo 2002 and the prize for the best short film at the NFB Spanish-American Film Festival in 2003. He is currently working with the group Ollin Teatro transformacion.
