Marie-Pierre Normand

Marie-Pierre Normand was born in Montreal in 1971. During the 90’s, she studied set design and fine arts and has since dabbled in a little bit of everything: paintings, set designs, collages, installations, live performances, drawings, illustrations. She conceived all of Jerome Minière’s La Tribu album covers and has also published a children’s book, Promenade (Editions La Pastèque, 2004). Mother of two, she draws her inspiration from everyday life. As a little girl, she was often absent-minded and still today, allows her mind to wander between the lines of her drawings.
