Born in Quebec City, Jean-Philippe Savard studies in classical percussions and in drumming for four years there. After touring through Quebec, New Brunswick and Ontario, he moves to Montreal. Today, he is sound effects editor and sound designer at Les Productions Modulations studios. He has worked on Quebec productions such as: Les Invasions Barbares, Alys Roby, Camping sauvage, Nuit de noces. He has also written some songs for movie soundtracks, one of which was used for Robert Morin’s Le Neg. He has signed the sound design for Robin Aubert’s first feature film: Saints-Martyrs-des-Damnés.
