Seugueuveugueu QuartetGuido Del Fabbro, Sebastian Dicenaire, Guillaume Soucy, Vincent Tholomé Floating through words and sounds in slow motion with the rigour of space cadets is what Seugueuveugueu Quartet is all about. This quartet of make-believe poets and musicians merrily shuffles genres and worlds, paying attention to the minute details and breaths of air that throw everyone off balance. “Like most, we live life at 200 km an hour,” says the Quartet. “We take our time on stage. Slowing down the rhythm of things. Or brutally speeding it up. We keep at it until a reality and a psyche thus far imperceptible suddenly appear. We consider ourselves enlighteners. Inventing a brand new world as we play music and speak. We freely mix improvisation with carefully prepared texts. We’re part of an experiment each time. In a sense, we’re like Russian cosmonauts—highly scientific. So in a sense, we’re revolving around the earth.” Featured in event
