A talented melodist, this young artist weaves together genres with a singular touch, creating her own chemistry between acoustic hip-hop and soul food. Sensuality, femininity and youth come across in her soulful touch as Skat unites languages into universal poetry. Her first maxi single had just been produced when it was named one of the top ten demos of the year 2000 by the weekly Voir. Skat recently participated in the semi-finals of Francouvertes, a competition designed to showcase emerging musical talents.
