SPIN was born in Guatemala to a resilient single mother. He is a communicator, agent of social change and firm believer in the power of words . Every tragedy that SPIN has suffered has shaped him into the poet he is today. He strongly believes that poets have a responsibility to their craft and he devotes his poetry to the upliftment of oppressed communities world-wide. Personal accolades and material gains mean very little to him. SPIN accredits all the blessings and success the universe has provided through poetry as a testament of the responsibility with which he treats his gift.
