A poetic and musical get together featuring an open mic for emerging artists.

In the afternoon we’ll be offering a writing workshop to students from local High Schools. Then the Caniche Hara-Kiri group will present a wild “5 à 7”. Finally, at 8pm, there will be a mega-jam with the registered performers and poets who will also get the wonderful opportunity to be accompanied by the super-musicians from Caniche. This is the perfect occasion for us to get to know you and potentially open the door to a possible spot in the “Festival Voix d’Amériques.” No kidding! We will be paying particular attention to young artists who approach us - especially those whom we may not have had the chance to see on stage before. Now is the time to sign up to present your five-minute “showcase.”

Let’s hear it for risk-taking! Let’s hear it for imperfection! And three cheers for courage, sincerity and the “work in progress!”
